Find Ancestors

Does anyone know details of Albert John Parkin b.1862 in Llangoedmore, Cardigan, Wales.
He is shown in the 1871 Census aged 9 as living with his grandparents, James & Sage Hilliar, in Cardigan, Wales. So were his siblings Harry, Jessie and Maggie Parkin.
What became of his parents? Did the Hilliars have a daughter who married a Parkin and unfortunately died? Did both parents die? I cannot find his father anywhere.
Albert shows up in 1881still living with Sage Hilliar in Greenwich, London. Do you know why?
He married Kate Pitman from Westonzoyland, Somerset and had four children, Walter, Leslie, Florence and Ivor.
Please help me to find out about my Grandfather if you can.

Not found any trace of Albert Parkin in Wales in 1861 so not sure whether to rule that marriage out now

HOORAY!!! I have found my Gt Grandparents!
The birth certificate has confirmed that Jane F Hilliar married Albert Davis Parkin from Stonehouse, Devon. I am now trying to find out what happened to him?
