Looking for Joseph William Dorman, born in St Mary Nottingham, about 1780 - we know he was 34 when he died on 15 March 1812 in Exmouth, Devon. I'd like to confirm his birth date, and find information about his parents.

I have found a tree on line that says Joseph was born ABT 1740, of Nottingham,Notts,England. He married Anne Castles MARRIAGE: 23 May 1790, St. Mary,Nottingham,Nottingham,England and has a daughter +Anne (Hannah) DOMAN.

In 1770 he remarries Elizabeth
MARRIAGE: 9 Jul 1770, St Michael,Derby,Derby,England

You would have to confirm this of course but it could give a clue in the right direction
