I am looking for any relatives of my grandad, Albert Brookshaw. I have contacted the family he said he was related to but I got no response. According to his death certificate he was born about 1901-1902.I have looked through several records but the only Albert Brookshaw's registerd are too old,or too young to be him.I am now wondering if Albert was perhaps, his middle name? I think at some point in his life he might have had links with Preston,Bamber Bridge. I know he was a Roman Catholic because he insisted my mother was one too.Perhaps there is a record of his birth at some church in preston or somewhere else? He once told my mother that he was named after his father. Are there any Brookshaw's in your family tree that were born at the same time? Thanks for reading. Julie
