Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is anyway I can get the records (if they were kept) for someone who was in an Orphanage at 12 walcot parade bath somerset please?
Id like to find out what her parents where called if this was listed. And to find out why she came to the orphanage.

She was called
Elsie Rose Morgan
born between 29/1/1888 and 7/02/1888 in bath

I cant seem to find her on the 1891 census but 1901 she is on the census in the orphanage age 14 and then she is a servant in 1911

Any help would be brilliant as the family have always wanted to know.
Thanks
Becky

Thanks everyone for looking.
The question i was asking on the other thread is:
Is it possible someone could have changed their name after going to an orphanage? (dont know much about orphanages) or is it more possible the name was just wrong on the census?.

Hi Rebecca,
It is always possible that there could have been a name change, sorry your guess is as good as mine.
