	Is that his G/Parents or Gt G/Parents names Doris Bowman marriages are up to 1931 so am surprised there isn't one there

	this could be his father's marriage ie g g grandfather NB he is Wm Albert the son seems to be Wm Alfred Name: William Albert Pears Year of Registration: 1906 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec District: Pocklington (1837-1937) County: Yorkshire - East Riding Volume: 9d Page: 163 wife either Ruth Hardwick or Jane Oxtoby
