Hi, Members of the Piper family (New Romney and Rye) have traced the family back to 1794, the birth of Cornelius Piper in Sussex. Has anyone gone back to the generation beyond Cornelius? Also,has anyone found any records of the marriage and subsequent divorce of Stephen Piper (born 1895 in New Romney) and Florence Prior (born 1896 in Lydd) - he was a Major in the Indian Army.
