Hi,my name is Bill Edwards and i live in Australia.I am trying to find information on the names Ramsdale and Frost. My GG Grandfather was Joseph Duffus Ramsdale and he was born in Scotland c1850s.He came out to Australia about 1853 on The Monteagle to Victoria,Australia.Joseph`s wife Dinah Anne Frost was born on the ship.Her parents were Margaret Jane Skinner Frost and her father was James Thomas Frost,she was born about 1826 and he was born about 1827.They had 3 children in Sussex England before they arrived in Australia,Hope somebody can help me out with my family tree.I am also looking for any information on Percy Alfred Ramsdale b1911 in Australia.Percy married Phyllis Ashley in 1936,had a few children to her and then disappeared,any one who knows what happened to Percy i would appreciate the information Bill |
