I'm trying to find my great grand father William John Rowe.He was a Royal Marine and married to a Amelia.I have tried free BDM and also looked under Military service records with no luck.any ideas.Thanks Bill Carkett

Thank you Barbara .For some reason the family thought William was born about 1860 so I never went back further than that,silly mistake doing a tree.Its definitly my great grand parents.Bill

Hi Everyone.Sorry for the delay in replying been off family tree for awhile .Have found all the details on my grand father William ,as usual wrong DOB names etc. Also 2 William Rowe Royal Marine's one served Portsmouth one served Plymouth. Had to send for service Records.
