Sorry to interrupt this thread but can I ask Margaret Manson where she obtained such detailed information of the death of Frederick Boddy ie: he died in hospital - home address etc:
It sounds like a very useful site

Free BMD is here:

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

It's where you go to find volume and page numbers so that you can then order the certificates from GRO.
You pay only 7 pounds when you have the volume and page number.

If you want to buy a BMD cert, here
is the addy where you can buy it online..

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

(tip)Never pay more than £7
(another tip) for a marriage, you only need
put one partners name when ordering.

If you are ordering online from the GRO,
make sure that when the form asks
"Is the full GRO reference known?"
that you tick the "yes" box or you could find yourself paying more!

hi,im trying to find out more about victor henry hesketh from darlington, his father was thomas henery hesketh mother minnie hall, my dad never told me about his family as he became ill when i was young my mum sylvia hesketh seems to think there was a rift in the family, they lived in darlington b4 moving to ealing?
if any1 could help me that would be great, not much to go on i know! i recently found a photo which was of dad age 20 in his raf uniform, but no one knows the handwriting and the writer claims he was their dad too maybe nothing but it adds to the mystery ? when dad met my mum he was living in crickhowell in wales and thats about all i know at the moment folks!
