FamilyFogey Report 26 May 2008 18:22

OK here we go - death ref:

Mameretta Meredith d. Jan Q 1945 aged 68 Surrey Mid E district 2a 386

So that puts her year of birth around 1877 which fits pretty well with that birth ref I found for May Meretta Meredith in Thame in 1877.

Hi Susan,

We can definately cross JJ Slack off the list. His death in 1957 confirm that we have 2 entirely different JJ's.

Oct/Nov/Dec 1957

Slack, Jeffery J Bromley 5b 104

So sorry that you've wasted money on his birth cert.

Judith Report 29 May 2008 11:29

Hi,

Hope you may be able to help me. I am trying to find Joseph Giles b 1805, Maria Giles b 1802 and their daughter, Mary b 1836 on the 1841 census for Devon.

I think they will be living in the Plympton St Mary/Kingsbridge area.

I would love to know where exactly they are living and if anyone else is living with them.

Any help you can give would be so appreciated.

Judith
