Hi Cathy

Thank you for the kind offer, please could you see if there is a record of a marriage between William Horsted and Elizabeth (possibly Turnbull) around 1817 or circa years around then in St George, Hanover Square, London.

Much appreciated regards Gary

Hi Geney Ologist

Have checked the discs and the dates stop to early. Have checked the parishes where the dates go to what you need but no joy. Sorry

Hi Joy

I only have Marriages for St George. Have had a look at the bmd indexes and although there are quite a few William Rivers in the deaths none are in the right district.

Lorraine Report 10 Jul 2008 14:08

Hi Cathy

I would be very grateful if you could find anything for Boulton or Tuckey as I am trying to find my grt grt grandfathers family.

Charles Boulton is down as the father on the marriage cert & Thomas Tuckey his uncle who he was living with on several census.

Charles would have been married before 1847 as this is when George/Francis was born.

Hope I haven't confused you too much.

Hi Lorraine

Have you any idea of where in London?

Cathy

Lorraine

Lorraine Report 10 Jul 2008 16:32

Hi Cathy

Possibly Kensington or Middlesex.

George/Francis was married in Hammersmith in 1866 & is on the census in 1881 as being born in Kensington, his father was stated as deceased on the cert.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Cathy:
Thank you for the offer. May I ask if there is anything for
St. George, Hanover Square (believe you only have marriages)
Surname: Vaus; date: 1800-1837 (A Vaus ancestor married a Mumford ancestor in 1857. Wondering if any other Vaus' married there). Thank you.

Hello Cathy, I am trying to find my Great great Grandfather. His name was George Lewis Jaques. He was born around 1800 and I know he had at least three children. They were Georgeana Emily born 1836 (My Great Grandmother),
george Lewis Jnr born 1838 and Millicent Elizabeth born 1848. Their Mother was Ephraimana Heywood. All of the children were born at St Lukes, Hackney area. There is a Gerorge Lewis Jaques in Clerkenwell but he has a family there.(I think he may have had two families going at once!!!) LOL. Ephraimana has the surname Jaques on the Birth Certificates, but she is buried in Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington, under her maiden name of Heywood. Would you know where the Abney Park records would be available. I have viewed the site on line, because my Grandparents are buried there. Their name was Bryant and there are over 100 Bryants buried there. They originally came from this area, but had lived in Tottenham for many years, so I don't know how they came to be buried over there! Sorry to go on so much, but I find this all so fascinating, and I must have a million questions going through my head.
