William Graham b 1838 in Thorne Doncaster(Epworth), son of an Iron Monger John Graham. Father died when William was very young and his mother Hannah fell on hard times and was listed on one of the census as a Pauper Hay Maker. William at the age of 20 was living at my G Grandfathers house. In later years William Graham became a Town Missionary in Sheffield South Yorks. I would dearly love to trace a family member.William, was present at the death of my great uncle and registered his death. My family have a history of Epilepsy and I should think it was quite a thing to witness at 20yrs old. Here is hoping someone out there can help.
This is from the 1881 census.
