Morning Amy and welcome to the boards.

As you've realised, Alison posted this thread 4 years ago.

In case you haven't worked it out, you message someone by clicking on their name (make sure you select the right Alison!) Chose the one who made the opening (first) post. Then you type in the box.

If Alison still has the same email address and is able to reply, GR will send her an email to tell her that she has a message waiting for her.

You can check if a message has been read by looking in your Sent messages box. If there is a closed envelope next to the message, then is hasn't been opened.

To send a message, just click on Alison's name.

IF her e-mail is the same as it was in 2008, GR will notify her.

If you want help with your research.............post a thread of your won, and people will try to assist

Hi Alison

I think this was my grandfather!! He married my grandmother (his second marriage) and had 4 boys (one of them was my dad) and he died when they were quite young. I'm very new here and was looking for information as my grandmother has just died. I'm not sure if I can message you...I'll try!

Hi Alison (great name!!)

Please forgive me if I am wrong, I am new to this, but having looked through the Death Index I have found a William Lazzerini whose death was registered in Jan/Feb/Mar 1959. It was in the District of Newark - Vol 3c, Pg 253. He died at the age of 65. Hope this helps. Alison

PLEASE PLEASE can anyone find the death of

Guiliamo (William) Luigi Lazzerini

B. c1890 Italy and came to UK in 1909 and married my g grandmother Alice Freeman Mar 1912.

He once owned the Victoria Ballroom in Nottingham and promoted boxing but divorced Alice in poss 40-60s and no one knows what happened to him. Cant find his death anywhere but a distant family member thinks he may have died in poverty?????

Please help as at my wits end - Alison
