Thank you for your kind offer, I have two related requests if it is not too cheeky.
The first is
William SNELL b 1838, with his wife Cordelia & children. I have details of his emigration to Quebec, Canda in 1872 but the family returned to this county sometime between 1877 and 1879.
I am also looking for the arrival of a Robert Edwin SNELL b abt 1869 (possibly in Canada) , I know he married in this country in 1897 and as I believe he maybe linked with the above William I think he too would have travelled from Canda.

Hi Julia, this is going to be a shot in the dark one lol, but we might be lucky!! it from the USA, no knowledge of port to or from! (came back to England!) It for a Harriet Taylor nee Dennington b. abt 1831, Widow, she will have with her may be two or three children (belived one died on the ship back) children were. Ellen Amelia Taylor b. Bristol Jan 1871, son John C.Taylor b. abt 1872 in Clayton County America, don't know if that is enough inform! they would have returned between 1872-1889... long shot I know, but worth asking, many thanks if you can help....Lilly

In 1891 census their children

Thomas circa 1888
and Elizabeth H 1890 are all shown to have been born in Madras India.
So I am looking for the families return from India around 1890-1891, maybe 1888-1891 to allow for census error.
