Sylvia Report 1 May 2012 14:38

If you have the time and / or inclination I would be really glad if you could find someone for me on the 1861 census, where I have been unsuccessful.

Jane Matilda PRICHARD (might be spelt PRITCHARD of course)
Birth: 1820 in Mathon, Worcestershire
Married to Rev. Rees PRICHARD.
I have him in Glamorgan where he was a vicar, with the two children
but Jane Matilda is not there. A son was born : John Watkin Downes PRICHARD baptised: 7.12.1861 so maybe she was somewhere having the baby ? He died in 1863.

Many thanks for any help.

David,
I am a little confused as your father was born in 1918 but you think your grandfather died in 1915.......?????
Also very large age gap between Sarah & Samuel (32 years) and she would have been 77years old when she had your father?????

please can you confirm these details one way or the other

Hi

I have been trying to find information on our Dutton Family for a long time and have really hit a wall. I'm hoping you can help me.

The best information I have is that John Dutton married Julia Fanny Rogers in June of 1852. They had a son, also named John, in 1853 at Southampton,Hampshire. Some time shortly after the birth of their first son they moved to Canada.

John was born in 1828, I believe, in Twyford, Birkshire. I am unsure of his parents names. I believe John and his son were both chemists.

I believe Julia was the daughter of William Rogers and Elizabeth Adams. I think William may be the nurseryman who designed the Southampton Cemetary.

I would appreciate any assistance you could give me in finding more infor about these families.

Thank you

Jeff
