Im trying to trace my fathers side of the family. He had nothing to do with them so i have no leads other then from his birth registration he was born in Eton 9/06/1938 and his mums maiden name was young. I believe they were from the slough area. that is all i have so far all help would be greatfully recieved
Its not a lot to be going on i know.

Is his surname Tansley? Do you know if he was the eldest or youngest?

All i know is he was born George Tansley i believe his farther was also george tansley his mother was called betty we think this was short for elizabeth. We also believe he had a brother and a sister she i think was called olga. They came from the slough area but must of moved to london as my dad told us he played for the chealsea football team junors.

You really need to buy their marriage cert as it should name their fathers.

Also Gwendoline M . mmn Young July 31 7a 558 Spalding.

Hi if you have clicked on their name and sent a message them then if they are still a member they will be informed by email , you can check if it is opened by looking in your messages sent box and if it hasn't been opened then there will be an envelope against it. Hope that helps
