Hello again, Could you possibly find any info on the Openshaw name on my side of the family.
I have this from the 1881 census...
Thomas Openshaw 1838
Agnes Openshaw 1844..

plus a list of their children (6), I am trying to find info on their son Alexander Openshaw c1878, could you possibly look up 1891 and 1901 census for me. I know that Alexander had a son called Fred around 1898. Fred married a Lena Barlow.
I have been trying to find the Openshaws from our family and am having no luck.

He is stated as single in 1901, there are 2 marriage records for an Alexander, you would need to send for certificates from gro.gov.uk and check father's name to confirm if they are both the same one

I have Ancestry but have got stuck- my grandmother's parents names as George Clarke and Ann Clarke nee Davis on her birth certificate in 1888. She is Florence Clarke born Birmingham Feb 5th 1888. I have spent hours trying to find their marriage or births or deaths that could be them- but then how would I know?? I know nothing about her siblings except she had some brothers. Can you help. I do know that by 1901 or earlier she was orphaned, but not exactly when each parent died.
I have found a Clarke family on censuses of 1871 and 1881, before the date of Florence's birth, but don't think it's them as then in 1891 she is not on the census with them. But I will send for one child's birth certificate just in case.

I wondered if you would be kind enough to look on the 1851 England Census for a HARRIET FANNY ENDICOTT/ENDACOTT.
We think she was born in Exeter Devon. On her marriage cert in 1864 she gave her age as 35.

Would you please try to find for me one or two children of Frederick Breese 1877 West Beckham, Norfolk and Nellie Smith 1867 Reading Berkshire. She married him 1906 second marriage, before that she was married to George Long, she had children with him - Eliza, Alfred, George, Gladys, and Edith 1900 Wandsworth. George Long died 1905, so I am trying to find out if Dolly (Dorothy) was child of George or Frederick. There was another child born late 1900s, Nellie.
