Hello Brenda!!! Oh my goodness I never thought anyone would still be around!!! I am still no where nearer to working it out!! That is them as the address is where they was listed as when married and when they died, how do you do searches on register? As I would like to look for the address listed on pats berth cert and year before and year after might shed some light as to how she just sprung up!!

Hope you are well xxx

They also appear at the time of Michaels birth in a pub as I went and saw the record myself in Bancroft road and Patricia had assumed the surname Greenhalgh at that time x

12 kerbella street e2 is the address where they were in 1953 x strange about the 1963 one though? As both kids would have been young still??? And Stanley had not died then, and on the death cert his address was 8 connett house.... :-/

yvonne e m gore

Elvina Evon May Gore... diff spelling BUT is fitting with the theory that family uses middle names first...

Oh and just to add on my list of exciting things today- I think i have found a match on ancestry and she is listed as Yvonne Gore- (thats if the info matches up about the brothers and sisters...) but they appear to be descendants of Letitia "queenie" Gore so possibly they can shed some light onto this situation?!?! fingers crossed for a response!

and just found a record on ancestry that shows a penelope greenhalgh (possible adoptee) boarding a boat with an emily G Greenhalgh in 1948 to canada... where would i search this further? as it may have been a mess up on the cert and she just may be overseas?

Hi Annie

What exactly are you looking for ?

I fully believe that the Gloucestershire family with father Arthur John Gore and mother Maria/Margaret Gore nee Knight and with daughter Elvina E M Gore aka Yvonne Gore/Greenhalgh are the correct family. Too many bits of info that appear to fit. not to be discounted.

This is probably Elvina/Yvonne

Yes I now think that elvina is Yvonne too, I just don't know why she never appears anywhere before 1943, I have extensively searched electoral registers etc and she is no where under any variation of name or spelling not even the farm where she was born, she just never appears and it strange I would like to know how she ended up where she did but I suppose it will be an unanswered question many thanks for all your help Brenda even after 3 years!!! :-)
