Youre welcome Tracey

Its easy for us on here as we have crystal balls and subtract the information from your head

Sometimes when theres bad weather it makes it a bit more difficult and then we have to ask you for more information, I know that can trouble people sometimes but we take the risk

Tracey

I found this, another Mr L B Blue and it fits in with the years you mention Maybe Eugene was his dad?

Ring any bells.......

by Eugene Field (1850-1895)

The little toy dog is covered with dust,
But sturdy and stanch he stands;
And the little toy soldier is red with rust,
And his musket moulds in his hands.
Time was when the little toy dog was new,
And the soldier was passing fair;
And that was the time when our Little Boy Blue
Kissed them and put them there.

"Now, don't you go till I come," he said,
"And don't you make any noise!"
So, toddling off to his trundle-bed,
He dreamt of the pretty toys;
And, as he was dreaming, an angel song
Awakened our Little Boy Blue---
Oh! the years are many, the years are long,
But the little toy friends are true!

Ay, faithful to Little Boy Blue they stand,
Each in the same old place---
Awaiting the touch of a little hand,
The smile of a little face;
And they wonder, as waiting the long years through
In the dust of that little chair,
What has become of our Little Boy Blue,
Since he kissed them and put them there.

Christine...

I think we have had some contact before....? did you say you were related to Mr L B Blue?

I am really getting desperate now as my mothers best friends next door neighbour is looking really ill recently, and i need to get this information before she dies.

I really really need to know who did what to who and when.... i need to know if i am going round in circles, cos it's really starting to seem like i am searching for a thingy in a whatchmacall-it.

found this on google

might shed some light on this puzzle

It has been argued that Little Boy Blue was intended to represent Cardinal Wolsey, who was the son of an Ipswich butcher, who may have acted as a hayward to his father's livestock, but there is no corroborative evidence to support this assertion.

Boy Blue might have been Norman Eedle's son who was married to Ms Haystack?
