Request to Search Burial Records - all burials at Dartford's four cemetries - East Hill, Stone, Swanscombe and Watling Street

You can search Dartford's burial records in three ways

-Request a search by Cemeteries Staff. The search fee per name (to be paid in advance) is currently £25.00.
-Visit Watling Street Cemetery and search the records yourself - By appointment only.
-Access or download the burial records to your PC for a £10 fee. You may download as little or as much as you like for this once off fee. The records cover the period 1856 to 2006.

Have you tried asking Dartford Library in the Market Square? They do have a number of FH resources. If they don't hold the burial registers, they probably know where they are.

Assuming they hold hem, If you ask them to make a search for the names, they are likely to make a charge. It might be cheaper to hop on the train, if you are able

I found lucy but not William.

Lucy Fryer, wife of William Fryer of 9 South St Dartford. Died 25 June 1912 aged 49 at Union Workhouse Dartford. Buried 2 July 1912 at Brent Cemetary plot a1367.

I looked for william right up to 1968 and found nothing i will check again later as i did have the distraction of an 18month old.

If poss could you look to see if you can find William b1871 & Lucy Fryer b1863, im not sure when there died but both were on 1911 census living at Howard Road Dartford,

I found this last night.

Ashes of Thomas Taylor of 162 St Vincents Road Dartford, a Chemist assistant, 69yrs, DIed at 162 St Vincents on 24 Dec 1940 buried on 2 Jan 1941 in Watling St Cemetary plot 1163 at 8ft

and
Martha Jane Taylor also of above address, 81 yrs, died at Paves? Nursing Home in Belvedere on 13 July 1948 buried on 17 July 1948 in same grave at 6ft.

Hope this is what your looking for. Not sure if the name of the home was Pauls or Paves.
