This John Sneddon (c1846-1922) was not the son of Robert Sneddon ond Jane Pettigrew. His parents were John Sneddon (c1815-1877) and Ann Love (c1821-1903). He married 1st Elizabeth, and 2nd Ann Aitkenhead.

It probably would not be appropriate to delete either one now that people have gone to the trouble of helping in both threads, but you should indicate in one that it is closed and continue in the other.

It just is not fair to waste people's time this way (see the other thread for duplication of what hoping/Linda did in this thread).

Go to the Tools part on the left hand side of the computer and click on advanced search.

Then type in the name you are looking for and see what posts have been made.

Make sure that you put in that you want to check ALL boards.

First off Thank You for your reply. All the fathers names were John. John Sneddon b. 30/4/1894 married to Theresa Devlin was a engineers patternmaker and his father was a house factor
