Hello T in Middlesex

Can you please do a search for the marriage by licence between Francis Joseph & Sarah Hipwood. They married in 1814 in St Mary, Newington, Surrey.

I would like to know the details on the licence. I am hoping it states if they were from another parish & any other info.

Thank you in advance
Paul

This is a shot in the dark

Can you find a marriage of Stephen Hickling born 1796 Bethnll Green and married to a woman (girl) called Ann born 1815 in Ireland.
Their son was born 1831 so I'm guessing they married just before then as she would have been about 15 years old.
I'd like to know her maiden name and where in Ireland she was from

I assume they married Bethnall Green

Thanks but I'm not expecting a result!!

Thank you so very much for your very kind offer.
I am really stuck with one of my ancestors Andrew Robinson Wilkes. He was born around 1777 he went to sea at 13 and married a Christiana - when and where I do not know but it looks like their first child Andrew was born around1811. Their 2nd Christiana 1814 and Jesse 1819.
Andrew snr left sea in 1823 and received a pension from Trinity House until his death in 1850 in St.George in the East in East London.

I did purchase a document that stated his wife Christiana applied for a pension after his death - it was this document that told me he was at sea from age 13 until 1823 and served 33 years at sea.

Any information on Andrew would be wonderful as I have never been able to find his parents or his brides maiden name.
Many thanks Irene

This may be a little broad, but if you're ever bored!

Anything relating to anyone with the first name or surname Dive would be brilliant!

(It's not that common a name)

Many thanks, Karen

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for the offer, could you look up a burial of Caroline Green, she died between 1861/71 in Islington, also if there were any poorlaw records for her and her 7 children around the same time.

I'd be very grateful if you could see if there are any MOCOCK / MORECOCK names in the Apprenticeship records.

This is partly personal as some of my ancestors were Mocock and were gunsmiths - usually called Thomas if that helps - but I think the name may have been Morecock at some stage so it gets a little confusing pre 1795 (when my gr gr grandfather was born).

It's also partly of general interest (any forename Mocock/Morecock) as I'm doing a One Name Study on the name too.

Many thanks (fingers crossed!)

Jill

I am researching the Yarwood family Tree and I am interested in any information for Yarwoods from St Saviours, Southwark (1881 and back) or Bethnal Green (1881 onward).

Would appreciate any information that you may have

Irene..

Cant search in Marriage Licence Allegations Index - Vicar-General 1694-1850 because it only show surnames of each person.

Nothing in other marriage records :o(

Got the Trinity House Petition which you already have.
