Hi Lorraine,

Maybe you can help me. I've been given a lot of useful data by BatMansDaughter and Choccy about my mother's aunt and husband who emigrated to USA in 1907/1910. I can't find when they died. Henry and Florence Ingram from Birmingham were living in Valentine Road, Bloomfield NJ in 1930 census, aged 61 and 60. I don't think they ever came back to UK so presumably died in US. Any ideas how to find out? Do I need to know their Social Security numbers for example?

I think that I might have found something with regard to Garland May, I dont know if this should make a differecne but I found some information that his name might have been Laurice Garland May born 1920 died 1945. would you able to help and see if there was a first marriage using that name for me. sorry to be a pain.

i cant find anything definate for them on a passenger list to usa unfortuantly the canadian ones dont start until 1865 do you have emilys marriage cert if so does it say if father is deceased this would give us a time frame as he may have died in jersey and mother remarried?

the 1850 census for canada only covers manitoba and nothing on there also checked the usa 1850 and no go there either
