Cant rememember when he got married but put this as a possible until eliminated.

I am told john ecle married 1888 (got to check this) and his first children were hannah 1876 and ada. both died young i think! I am still trying to find out were mary ellen was born! i have a few on my list.. some liverpool.. cheshire,, just trying to trace her to make sure i have the right one!! I dont want to rely on other peoples research. I have found mary ellen with a dad george and william. still trying to figure it out!! My contact on here as her dad as george,,,, but i dont know!

According to 1911 census Hannah 1876 was there at Boyd street and William henry 1888 who went into the army,and Lydia 1890 who died in 1913.
John the father must have died between 1911 and 1919 as on henry's army records mum Mary Ellen was a widow.

Henry's war no 313470.

Had a look at 1901,I have been trying for hours ,thankyou Rose.
it is always them damn transcribers who get it wrong,if you look at the original it clearly says ECKHO,it would save us alot of time if they had took the time to read it correctly don't you think.
They have thrown me off course lots of times in the past.
So now elizabeth we have them married 1880 and 1881,1891,1901 and 1911 census,do you agree/

Yes I have the year they were married but I was told they were married in 1888?? This was from someone elses tree so have not varified it! but this looks wrong now as hannah was born in 1876?? so I will have to check the marriage bit out now. Definatly worth getting the certificate as will tell me loads! once i find the exact details i can order it?? not sure how too but another quest :)

Hannah was born 1888,as on 1911 census she is 24 so she must have been their 1st child as they were married 1888 A/M/J,so i would say the marriage with Johan and mary ellen is the right one.

Sorry it was 1880 when they married not 1888 as i said before, Hannah's birth was registered dec 1886.

So to clarify Johan Eckeho married Mary ellen Barkley in Liverpool A/M/J Volume no 8b page 261.

I have not joined annestry but will today as feel i need that bit extra. Its become a bit of an addiction :) The person who gave me the dads name of Johan Echeho.. gave me a name of peter echeho as his father and again born in germany. I have NOT verified this name and they said the date of birth could have been 1820?? a stab in the dark but this is what they had.

I have asked them to tell me if they have the marriage cerificate but not heard yet? I am hoping they have got it,,, otherwise i will order it.

Hi anne, thanks for th information. I think i had it but parked it some days ago.. becouse again i was not sure about the name ect. now i am positive the name and the family are right. i will amend that ada was the first... it is interesting she was born in manchester!!! so another line opens.

I did not have his death date either, so thanks for that.. great.. i keep re-checking post too check if i had parked it as the name was not right!!! hahah it makes it frustrating at times but very interstign :)

thanks got evelines birth :) the fact the cessors miss the e off the end of robinette.. is a pain. My nan told me when her mother left she did go and live with a man but refused to marry. She moved to norwich with him and moved into a home. she died at 82 at the home.
