	Hello, Gill - As Janet has only 4 posts to her name, it's probable that she doesn't look at these message boards any more. You can try sending her a private message - click on her name at the top of her posts. If she still has the same email address, GR will notify her that she has been sent a message.

My paternal Grandmother was Sarah Hilda Quarmby (known as Hilda) 1885 - 1956 born in Holywell and died in/near Bradford, Yorks.Hilda married Naylor Sharp Birkbeck. Hilda had two brothers, Harold Sykes Quarmby born about 1888 - never married, and what appears to be your Grandfather Benjamin Herbert Quarmby we have 1893-1942 (unsure of total accuracy). If your Grandfather married a Miriam Jones 1897-1939 ? then we are possibly related! I see your search was back in 2009, so I do hope that you are still a member of this site and that you will respond. Gill

Member Since: October 2009 Posts: 4 Send Message	PLEASE can anyone help me - Sarah Hilda Quarmby Think this lady is my grandfather's sister - My grandfather was Benjamin Herbert Quarmby born 1890 - he also had a brother Harold born 1888 - cannot find out of Harold was married or not - too many Harold Quarmby's around!! and Sarah Hilda is not on the 1901 census - she would have been 16 then. She is on the 1891 census when she was 6 - what has happened to her - - I'm new to this - and it is difficult when you use all your credits to look up things that aren't your family. Help please they all lived in the Halifax Huddersfield area. Phew!! Cheers Janet
