We are making a little progress with the family of Ellen Taylor. Ann noticed that these 2 marriages were next to each other and the second one was the witnesses for William and Ellen, Following those throgh censuses we think Mary is Ellen's sister and Elizabeth Boyle may also be. We are still trying to find Thomas in a census.

This Thomas Taylor is a possible candidate. He lived in Parr.
The daughters were not born till mid sixties and he is about th e right age. Also siblings were Ellen and Elizabeth.

I am completely lost. I'll admit it. You are so far ahead of me I can't catch up. I feel like the tortoise lumbering after the hare.

I'm still back trying to work out which is the birth date of John Winders.

If you sort this out and want to put it into the summary thread please just ask, or if you like add it to the other thread in the right order.

Good luck with putting it all together.

This one would fit with fathers occupation and on one census Ellen says she was born Ashton

LadyKira

I was thinking that too bearing in mind age. That would give us three Taylor sisters.

FMP 1891 place of birth can only be searched by county and nothing likely came up for BOYLE.

Bearing in mind the mispelling in1901
I searche for b*l* residence Parr and came up with this.

AS

The John William is on my line.
He was known as John Willy, His father was John.
His grandfather was william.
His great grandfather and Great great grandfather were also John.
I have noticed a tendency in the area to reverse names like you sugest. That is why I wonder if Rhonda's William is The John in the marriage to Ann Hills. I thought this would be anice easy name to research but it is giving me more trouble than my Smiths
