PS Did you find any thing else on the 2 JohnWhitworths b1665 and 1701 it also dawned on me that John 1701 was really old to be Richards b.1780 father , but seems that everyone else with the same family tree has missed this and Richards possible 2nd marriage.Many thanks again Jill

Jeanette......I'm interfering again......but my information is that Lilian was an only child..born Radford Nottingam 1884......moved to Northampton..via leicester..married to a guy called CHARLES BROMWICH Had a child VIOLET..she died in Northants 25.09.1960.......might be yours..might not..with aplogies to Lorraine.

back in 1784 richard whitworth married an elizabeth rawson 25 5 1784 walesby i am presuming that these are the parents of richard rawson who married elizabeth surplice but cannot find a baptism for him to help.
i seem to be getting myself confused today having one of those days where the brain wont work so will come back to you later

Thanks a lot for looking for Lilian Taylor for me, I,ll just keep on searc hing. Derek seems to thnk that Lilian was an only child, but this is not the information I have, in fact I believe when she got married, her brother was a witness. Anyway thanks a lot I appreciate your efforts.

Hi all, espec ially Sharon, hope you don,t mind me hijacking the thread to reply to Derek. Derek, Lilian was certainly married to Charles Bromwich and had a daughter Violet. Violet was my husbands mother. Lilian was as far as I know certainly not an only child, I believe there were four children, as shown on the 1891 census for Radford, but I certainly don,t mind you going to the trouble of replying to me, Please keep me up to date if you find any more information, I,d appreciate it.

Hi Sharon, Thanks thats filled the gap seems everyone else has missed this,I thought 79 was a bit old to have a child unless you are a film star, which was improbable in the 1700s. Thanks again Jill

Betsy/Betse Allen, born c1848 Lye, Worcestershire and married in Nottinghamshire c March 1868 to Charles William Templeman born ?? . They had a child Annie Templeman born c1869 and ??maried in Basford.
