I have had a look at all the deaths in the Glasgow area for a John McLuskey and none of them seem to have Henry and Helen as parents

Sorry, thought this would add on to the last post but it cam up as a new one! so will try again!Hi Emma, any luck with this one? Some more info... Joshua Wells was born around 1800 in we think Blantyre , married to Elizabeth Neil. Had a son William born around 1929. He also may have had a son Richard born 1841 in Lanarkshire. Any info about any of them would be great.

Hi Emma,

Thanks for your response. In answer to your questions :-

a) I don't know much about Robert Barr c. 1845 at all including parents' names.

b) James Barr b. 1867 was my great grandfather - on 1911 census he was born near Ayrshire, Scotland.

c) On my grandfather's marriage certificate it states - father of bridegroom as being Robert Barr - Manager of Colliery in 1904.

I've hit a brickwall at the moment and can't move any further.

Hi Emma,
Can you find a marriage for Ivar Jensen and Jane Stenhouse Doran on 5th January 1947. Probably in Glasgow. Could you find his parents & whether they were alive. Jane's parents were James Doran & Henrietta Baptie. Jane was married before so may be Jane Innocenti.

Thomas Wallace Conn c 1909 same parents as above born possibly Airdire.

Can you look at the marrage of George McCallum & Helen McDonald who were married between 1910 - 1930. I'm trying to find the Names of the Parents. George & Helen had a son called George who was born on the 02/05/1923 at 21 St.Marys Wynd in Stirling.

born c1836 Dalzeil.
she married john PRENTICE 22 nov 1860 cambusnethan? Larnark.
she appears on the 1861 census in mary st, Dalzeil with john and her 1st child mary m age 4 months. but not in the 1871. where her husband is alone with mary m age 10, janet age 8, thomas age 7 and alexander age 5.

john remarried to Mary MARR 19 nov 1872 and had 6 more children.

could you look and find Margarets death for me.

This is a bit of a long shot!
John Coleman born Mayo, Ireland 1860s left his family in Ireland 1890s. Family myth has him living with new family in Scotland!

I am looking for any more information I can about Jane Crawford particularly about her trial and her family
Born 1831in Paisley Renfrew Scotland
Tried in Glasgow 26th September 1848 and transported to Tasmania Australia
Jane's parents were David and Sarah Crawford nee Barclay, and she had a sister Ann.
David's parents, David and Ann Crawford nee Hunter married on 16.12.1791.

Hi Emma I was wondering if you could look up one last request. I have been unable to find any information on Elizabeth Carcary c1821 Kincardineshire, Scotland her parents were Robert Carcary and Ann Forbes they got married on 14/05/1820 St Cycys, Kincardine, Scotland. As far as I am aware she had a brother James Carcary born 09/03/1821 in Saint Cyrus, Kincardineshire, Scotland. Would really appreciate your help on this one .

annie Milne might have come from Twechar was living in Glasgow in 1935 gave birth to a son Ronald Milne Bell 27/8/1935 really stuck cant find anything about this lady.
