If MC can go for a walk in adverse weather conditions so can you Toots.. I especially like the beach when it is raining... probably the best time for me to go there as I am not one to go swimming, hate all the showering and cleaning ritual afterwards.

P xx :-)

Enjoy your pamper day Renes cos you're worth it. :-D

It's chucking it down with rain here :-( I hope it clears up so I can take Carlo out. Not much fun in the rain.

I absolutely HATE banks, we constantly have to transfer money between accounts at work as part of being the exchequer services function, I can't stand the "computer says no" mentality.

Anyhows, good morning everyone - hope it's better weather where you are than it is here, black skies, stotting rain, howly wind so am going to walk down the prom later and look at the sea.

Good morning................................oooooooooooh.....sausage patties and grilled tomatoes please Sylvs. Thank you very much for that lovely breakfast. I now have to consider something from the brunch menu........ decisions, decisions..... :-D

Glad you had a good meal out with your friends.

Take your time dear Jonesey, take your time. Wouldn't want to rush you at your age.............please, just finish that ciggie and then take time to consider your options.

MEN!

Gins.....you is a plank messing up yer password. Dear oh dear. :-D

Never mind, going into the bank will be good exercise for you.

Dea, I've had to write two cheques this week and I'd almost forgotten how to do it - we rarely use the cheque book these days. Mind you, OH was in banking and still prefers to use cash and cheques rather than cards..........he'd probably use a quill pen if he had the option :-S

He's a funny old thing at times. We have a separate small account in a different bank and I use it purely for any internet transactions for safety. When it needs topping up a bit, he still can't get his head around the fact that we can go into that bank, withdraw money from the other bank account and then pay it into this one. He is getting used to being frogmarched in though..............bless....... :-D

Off for a browse.......it's a bit chilly up North today.........brrrrr.

Gins

Gins Report 18 May 2013 08:58

It's not that simple Dea, it's a business account and the tax man doesnt like stuff like that! If transactions are not transparent they get a bit twitchy

Going in to NW this morning

Dea

Dea Report 18 May 2013 08:07

Good morning all :-D

I will just have a quick bacon buttie before the others get here, although it doesn't look as if we will run out of food today, you have provided a feast for later Sylvs - thank you <3 <3 <3

Do you not have another bank account Ginns, with one of them old fashioned 'cheque book thingies' ? Or one you could use? (JB's or son's ?) then you could just do one 'huge' CHAPS transfer into it and pay everything out of there?

Gins Report 18 May 2013 07:43

Mornin all........

Yeahhh............breakfast is back, good un proper <3

MC, no Friday gang, just me and JB, nattering away at the talking/thinking door

I see Jonesey stirred up the pot and buggered orf!

Going to the bank this morning to pay bills. I put the wrong password into the online banking the other day and it locked me out. Got sent a new activation code, that went t#ts up and have to wait for another one to be sent - 5 days before I get it

Bit of a tricky sittuation, how do I pay any bills/wages when I cant access my account :-0

When I went to the NW yesterday, they couldnt do ANYTHING to help, except CHAPS payments......£28 per transaction :-| Strange that isnt it, account blocked but they can do CHAPS

Buddy banks, what a rip off, its my money and I want it...............

Not avoiding anyone, like I said still considering things.

Interesting statistics:

Time taken to achieve the previous 80 posts, over 6 days. :-(
