Hello - I'm here <3 <3 <3

Just 'Busy busy' these days with the grandchildren !!!

Had to tell their mother today that she had to work on little grandson's spelling ;-)

He is only 6 and not doing too badly but he went up into the office today and wanted to listen to something on the computer. - I am not very well up on today's music but I think it was 'Uptown funk' by Bruno Mars ??

Anyway he managed to type 'uptown' in the search box and then he hadn't got the cursor on the right place so when he pressed the space bar he didn't get a space and it just kept paging down so he asked me to sort it out.

I explained what he had to do and placed the cursor - he then pressed the space bar and typed in the next work.........................Unfortunately he couldn't spell funk and he mistakenly put in the last 2 letters as 'ck' ..................

What are you trying to find I asked as the video started - he said 'it's alright I have got it but that's not the video I usually get !! :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

I quickly clicked on the picture he said he usually saw and he danced away and sang to his music !!!

More spelling lessons neeeded, I think !!! ;-)

Just as well because its pouring today more like November than May :-(

We have started going through those photos - table is covered and only half way there.

It's lovely to look through old photo's and some not so old ones.

Well, thank goodness the rain has stopped and the sun is peeping through !!

Little grandson is away at his first Beaver Scout Camp this weekend and it rained heavily all day yesterday and REALLY heavily all last night and this morning - the poor little mite will be soaked through and covered in mud by the time he gets home.

I expect he will have had a lovely time though ;-) :-D :-D

I have bought an album for the photos

I thought as we were going to be sorting/copying them there was no point in just chucking them back in the bags.

As we have such a busy weekend I probably wont get started till Monday.

OH just had to dip into them, he found his uncles de-mob card and one of our wedding invitations :-D

I have put a full English breakfast in the warmers (veggie sausages)

Help yourselves and first up put on the kettle ;-)

Thought I would pop in to say hello~~~~~~~~~

It's election madness in our 'ward', every day (so it seems) we have knocks at the door, leaflets pushed through the letter box and postal pleas

I think Nick Clegg must have a squeaky bottom!

And so he should

You will never guess what I saw today !!!.......................

We were going to collect the grandchildren from school and got to the top of a country lane and stopped at the traffic lights.................. on the grass verge walking along was a 'mummy' duck - behing her were 13 or 14 little ducklings all in a straight line. They continued along the verge and up a little slope - the little ones scurrying along and flapping their little wings to help them up it.

They then turned right and went along a couple of yards and as we turned to the left away from them I saw 'mummy' duck and her followers crossing the road on the crossing at the traffic lights !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-0 :-D :-D :-D :-D

What a clever 'mummy duck' - I hope they all made it in one piece to wherever they were going.

It was just a shame that the children were not in the car with us as they would love to have seen that.

Hello everyone :-)

We are clearing out cupboards etc while we have some free time

Yesterday OH cut the grass and I did 2 washings and cleared the kitchen up.

Sat down to have a cuppa and OH says he has found more records for his granddad. He previously paid for them from NA but they only sent one page and the image shows two pages.

for some reason the site was acting up and it took me ages to find them then it wouldn't accept my email address and password.

I got fed up and just re registered and got them ok.

I had asked M to look and see if she could find his medal card as I couldn't.

She didn't but she did find his seaman's card with photo on it :-D

I managed to enlarge it and printed off a couple of copies.

We took one over to FIL today when we were visiting. He kept asking if he could keep it :-D

I took the printer over as he needed some stuff copied.

So then I asked if he could get out the photos . I had never seen pics of OH's granddads. I did today :-D

We decided to bring them home to sort through and copy. I now have 2 huge carrier bags to work through.

Think I may be busy for a while :-D

This weather is really wierd - it's blowing a gale here but no snow !

Yes Ginns - I did 'eventually' find my egg over 3 hours later !!! :-0

By which time we had the fridge and freezer out and it wasn't under there but, of course, I had to clean under and behind them before we put them back !!

We searched everywhere - how can you lose a boiled egg ? - but it just wasn't anywhere to be seen :-S

I convinced myself that I must have eaten it but I couldn't remember eating it which worried me - I thought I must be going a little 'doolally'.

I then decided to search through the rubbish bin to see if the evidence of my eating it was in there (tell-tale egg shells) so rubber gloves on and the search began but no - no shells in there and surely I wouldn't have eaten the shell as well ! :-|

I couldn't settle so went back to look again in the fridge, this time taking everything out !

There it was nestled in another open box next to a jar of curry paste - it had obviously tipped into there out of sight and just it's box had fallen out onto the floor !

I was completely 'Eggshausted' by the time I started to cook lunch :-D
