Today he linked printer to new laptop

They also do tutorials for phones/laptops

You should ph9one your nearest store and ask the price to join then just do it for a month

I got more shopping done today and did over 5000 steps

Also booked cinema tickets for Friday we will go for a meal first

Wont have baby as college is stopping early on Friday

When you buy a new phone you don't need to pay to have someone transfer all your data, it's all on the cloud and you can download it yourself.......for free

I reverted back from W10 to W8 due to the compatibility issues! The operating system for W10 is not much different from W8 but Microsoft really need to sort out the compatibility issues

Who are these 'geek squad' people Linds and where do you find them? - I still haven't got all my 'stuff' onto the new computer in the right places !!

I did have a problem with windows 10 not being compatible with my printer and had to download new printer software to make them connect. Windows 10 is 'not compatible' with so many things !! :-(

It sounds like you have a very sensible Christmas planned - It will be quiet for you but it's time to put your feet up and relax for a change.

We always have just the two of us for Christmas dinner - we take the childrens presents over in the morning and then come back and relax. This is what we have planned for this Christmas too then we will probably have them all over for Boxing Day or the following day and then they will all come over for a New Year's Day dinner.

No not finished shopping yet

Had baby yesterday and girls today

Tomorrow No 2 son - girls dad- is taking me out for breakfast a late birthday treat

Afterwards we need to go get some shopping done cand collect my laptop

I couldn't get windows 10 to load

When I got my new phone I met the geek squad move everything over

I get a month of help so I'm getting my moneys worth

Couldn't get the laptop to recognise the printer so taking it in tomorrow and they can do that too

They charge £14.95 to move stuff from old phone to new one

You can take any if your devices in and they will fix them

I'm getting my moneys worth but won't be paying another month :-)

Think this year it will just be the two of us for Christmas dinner

I'm actually looking forward to it - no running to a timetable can suit ourselves don't even have to get dressed up if we don't want to !

You plugged a kettle and iron into a light fitting?

Went into the city this morning. Got everyone's gifts except for 1

They had some banging offer on in the Clarins department in Debs......that was the girls sorted :-)

Still waiting for a couple of online orders but apart from that, pretty much sorted

Ginns - them lights which you plugged into the light fitting - I remember them well _ 1960's and very much of a danger nature !!

That's what we did with the iron and the kettle etc. - One power plug and one light socket - that was claiming that we had electricity in the house !!

Everything else hqad to be fitted into the light socxket.............................

Dea, I have baubles from late Victorian times, passed down the family and then to me....they are treated like new born babies!

I also have a set of lights from the 60s that my parents had. They plug into a lamp fitting!!!

I don't use them even though they still work. Don't think they will be up todays safety standards!


Edit: I've been looking online and I'm not sure they are Victorian? They came from the US....might be early Edwardian?

We had to buy new tree lights too !! + many of our old decorations have 'given up the ghost'!!

Have to admit that we are all getting old and will have to renew them before next Christmas !!

Just got the tree up, only took us from 12.30pm!

Had to go and buy new lights as the ones we had were knackered

we had the baby today he is coming on a treat now weighs 12lb 10oz

I have just finished writing my Christmas cards

Tomorrow need to get more shopping done so hope the weather behaves itself

We are taking the family on that Santa Cruise again today and then treating them all to lunch - It's so windy here you can hardly stand but at least the boat has central; heating so we will all be warm and snuggly inside.

Finally went Christmas shopping yesterday.

I did almost 3600 steps :-)

today we had the girls so didn't match it

My Gawd Linds - I would do 200 - 300 steps on a very good day !!

I cannot imagine managing 2500 !!! - You MUST be getting better !!

I have No 2 sons all in and got the baby's today

No 3 son and partner are getting cinema and restaurant vouchers which I will get nearer Christmas

Went shopping today and have hit the 2500 steps mark which is better than the 200-300 I have been doing when I was ill

Poor wee Star had another lump op yesterday waiting on biopsy results

We went to P and F's for dinner on Wednesday and Star was barking at the door to get to us. she went nuts sitting on my lap and licking my face

Think she missed me lol
