Well folks,

Just sorted my e-mail at long last !

When I said there were over 21,000 - I have now realised that they were just the 'unread' ones - there were MANY more !!!

They have now all gone !!! ;-) :-0 :-D :-D

I might well be back in the land of the living ;-) :-D

Just got new bedroom carpet fitted. A bargain 80% wool reduced from £300 to £99

Carpet fitter said it will last for 10 years plus

OH had picked a red one that he talked me into was only £30 cheaper but I kept thinking about it

I felt it looked cheap and decided if I kept thinking about it I wouldn't have liked it when it was down

Went back to the shop and swapped for this one its so thick :-D :-D

Now to furnish the empty room
We have the girls today and F is helping grampa tidy up "her" bedroom She was with us when we went to change the carpet

She wanted a bright pink sparkly one :-)

Well, the sun isn't shining here Linds - It is grey, wet and grizzly !!! :-(

Enjoy it while it lasts !! ;-)

Dea have sent you a PM <3

Dea Report 10 Sep 2015 13:28

A sign of the times on this site :-( :-( :-(

The above is still the latest message posted on the board from almost 3 hours ago !

When I first joined there was more than one per minute and I struggled to keep up.

That's really sad isn't it?

We had these earlier

Half price is OK, quite a lot in a bag, enough for two

Dea Report 5 Sep 2015 19:54

Hi all,

Still struggling with the new computer BUT - getting there !! ;-)

Windows 10 has several good points but MANY really bad ones !!

The browser doesn't work very well so have gone back to Mozilla !

The e-mail is just AWFUL and now it has given up completely so I have had to resort to Virgin web mail browser which is far better but I now have the whole lot in my inbox from when I signed up - over 21,000 mails !!! :-0 :-0 :-S :-S :-(

I am going through them one by one and deleting those which are not needed - I think it will take me until Christmas ;-) :-D :-D

Hey Ho ! - at least it works :-D

It's always helpful to be able to breathe! Glad you are having a better day of it

I just had a look at my driving licence details online. Seems DVLA have already issued my new licence....very efficient

I checked all my details, section for endorsement's/vehicles authorised to drive etc. Can't wait to get my new bus/tractor and road roller

I look forward to receiving my 'younger' look photo card licence!

Dea Report 30 Aug 2015 14:32

Goodness me - I can breath today !!!

It must be a change of weather? - Perhaps the summer is over? :-( :-( BUT, whatever reason, I can breath today for the first time in months :-D

I have got so much done this morning you would not believe - I don''t expect it will last ;-) :-S :-S

Hope everyone is well?

Ginne - the same thing happened to hubby when he renewed his license - the old passport photo looks nothing like him :-0

I still have my paper license so don't have to bother until I am 70...

I have just had a letter to renew my blue badge after 3 years and they insist on an up to date photo. =- I don't mind though as the one I had taken for the first one was SO awful that I kept it hidden and dreaded anyone asking to see it. I will be very glad to get that one into the shredder !!!

What are you all up to?

Dea Xxx

Gins Report 29 Aug 2015 16:33

Got notice that my drivers licence is due for renewal

I renewed online today. No need to send a photograph as they will take the photo from my passport

My passport photo is 10 years old!

Gins Report 26 Aug 2015 18:23

You will Dea!

Just got back from a three day break in Manchester this afternoon

Had a brilliant time, great hotel and Manchester has so much to offer

Knackered now!!!
