WHY Ginns ???
I only have to get undressed when I get there and I don't have a lot of time, energy or breath to do all that at that time in the morning !! - I am serious here !!!

Dea Report 19 Jul 2015 20:03

I have just had a brain wave !!! - PLEASE tell me if I have gone 'doolally' !!!

I have MRI and CT scans booked for 8.15am on Tuesday and, as you know, I am not good in the mornings ;-) :-(

I have decided that I will go in my jimmyjams and dressing gown ???

I will not look out of place when I am in there and it will save all that time getting dressed beforehand and getting uundressed when I get there etc. etc.

As long as we don't have an accident on the way there or on the way back it seems to make perfect sense ???

What do you think? - Have I lost the plot??

Ohh - how lovely to get all those cuddles from the girls Linds. They obviously did miss you a lot, they must love their Gran :-) :-)

It's good to know that no-one was hurt when that ceiling collapsed - I hope it is going to be a safe home for them to live in. :-0

Sorry ladies had a hectic couple of days and yes Gins you cracked it they are verticals. I only needed to replace the vanes/slats as nothing wrong with the other parts

Girls are back daddy brought them round yesterday and I asked if they had missed me a little
Wee F said "No gran missed you a lot" then they both jumped into my arms and gave me kisses and cuddles :-D :-D :-D

Last night they had both sets of parents round for dinner

When we got home M and L came in

They had a bit of a disaster their bathroom ceiling collapsed just before she was going to start painting the walls. Phew

They have had all sorts of workmen in today and they have taken the whole ceiling down. Wont be fixed till Tuesday as its a holiday weekend

Its a shame they have been working hard all week decorating so they can move in

Dea Report 15 Jul 2015 20:12

I had to look it up too Ginns but I am not much further forward :-S

Yes ladies my last chick is leaving so will have an empty nest.

Saw the flat today :-(

Cant say much its their choice I think they jumped too fast

We have all been out today and we got them a fridge freezer, cooker and washing machine

then we went to Ikea and they got a coffee table and a bathroom cabinet and some bits and pieces

We came home and they went and got paint and wallpaper, underlay and lino for kitchen and bathroom.

Also got hoover and a kettle so things are coming together for them

They already have the sofa ordered

Have been busy too Dea.

M and L have been offered a two bedroom flat went to see it today and accepted it, they then went out and ordered a sofa.
M told them he needed it in 2 weeks - guy says no up to six weeks

He told them forget it and suddenly a slot opens up might be a week but no more than two :-)

They are like kids in a sweet shop

Going out tomorrow to look for white goods and paint etc

Dea the girls are back from holidays on Wednesday so our break is over ...

Dea

Dea Report 11 Jul 2015 09:20

OOhhh Dear !!! - I missed that lovely breakfast too :-( :-( :-(

Have just been SO busy.................

The children finished school yesterday and 'mummy' is taking the first week of the holidays off so we can have a lovely rest - she is also taking the 3rd week off - after that 'daddy' will be taking two days off in each of 3 weeks so it won't be so exhausting ;-)

When we got home on Thursday afternoon our burglar alarm was going off - what a noise !!!

Hubby checked which room it had been and found it was either the upstairs landing or our bedroom. This was the same area which set it off several days ago but I had discovered a VERY large bee buzzing around the following morning so presumed that had set off the motion sensor.

As this was now the second time, he went out and bought 2 new sensors to replace them.

He took off the old sensor only to find a big fat spider crawling around inside - obviously the 'culprit'. It took us ages to get it to come out from under the circuit board so we could get rid of it. - It was a fast runner but didn't escape !!! :-0

He couldn't reconnect them all as we then had to go and pick up the children so that is another job to keep him busy today :-D

I am just going to sit around and enjoy the peace and quiet..................

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
