Felt it coming and got the washing off the line, just in time

Wow...............I have just seen the best electoral storm!

It's heading off somewhere else now but it was amazing and very LOUD and lit the house up, like a xmas tree

Dea Report 3 Jul 2015 20:29

Well done you !!

I have been to grandchildren's open evening and seen their projects and read their EXCELLENT school reports !!!

SO proud of them both - long may it all last !!! ;-) - I hope !!!

I cant store dirty curtains !

I think son and partner might nick them so as I have a washing line as opposed to a rotary drier I was nice and washed them :-(

Just finished eating and sitting on my b*m for the rest of the night ( well after I bring in the last of the washing that is )

Gins Report 3 Jul 2015 19:01

I don't have curtains Dea, I have roman blinds

I once washed some and argh.................they shrunk and that was after advice from the made to measure company that made them :-|

That was a very expensive mistake

Never washed any since and I can find no one who dry cleans them :-(

Dea Report 3 Jul 2015 18:39

Good question Ginns - that is what I thought too :-S

Dea Xxx

P.S. - I daren't wash my curtains as they would probably disintegrate - it is SO long since they were last washed :-) ;-)

If you are buying new curtains, why have you washed the old ones?

Linda Report 3 Jul 2015 15:55

Belated Happy 4th Birthday Fred :-)

Just spent the morning washing curtains and packing up everything from living room and dining room.

Painter is coming 8am tomorrow and he has been told he better turn up after I have spent the day clearing the room ;-)

Now I have to pick new curtains, cushions etc. :-D :-D

Gins Report 1 Jul 2015 21:31

the girls loved it they were out in the garden all day till about 2pm

the pool was in the shade

We got them dressed and went to the local shopping centre to enjoy the air con ;-)

It was supposed to be thunder and lightening so far its not happened

we have 2 weeks off they go on holiday on Monday :-D :-D :-D

Gins Report 1 Jul 2015 20:12

Linds is hot stuff, whatever the weather ;-)

Today has been 32/33c here but it feels hotter now

I couldn't close the bi-fold patio doors when I went to the shop earlier..........swollen with the heat

Hope they will close later or we'll have to hose them down with cold water

Dea Report 1 Jul 2015 19:42

My OH has done that more than once. He also does it with the fridge door most recently yesterday :-(

Your GD did great you should be proud of her.

Gins scandal don't you love it :-)

Dea Report 28 Jun 2015 07:40

Gins Report 27 Jun 2015 16:14

My husband does the same, wouldn't mind but there is an alarm to tell you the door is not properly closed, he manages to dodge the alarm every time

Just found out today, OH's G grandfather married twice within a couple of months, bigamous of course :-0

Dea Report 27 Jun 2015 16:02

Just spent over 2 hours clearing out and defrosting my freezer and strangely, in this heat it took longer to defrost than it usually does, even with the help of several kettles full of boiling water :-S :-( :-(

I admit that it was due for a de-frost but the reason I did it today was that my dear hubby managed to leave the freezer door slightly open and everything in the front half melted :-| :-| :-|

I only noticed because I came back from shopping with a pack of frozen peas so went to put them in when I returned.

I have lost over half the contents and will have to spend the afternoon cooking some into dishes which I can then safely freeze :-(

Men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dea x
