Morning all....see I had a lie in today, only been up 40 minutes

I posted this little gem on Michaels thrread but thought Pete might find it useful;


Scientists have proved that no one can 'multi' task. The brain can only concentrate on one thing at a time

That said it has also been proven that women have the ability to switch focus much more quickly than men...hence given the 'appearance' of multi tasking!

So that answers my little quandary.

When JB says 'sorry, what are you talking about'....he’s still thinking about what I was talking about 2 seconds ago and I’m now taking about something that I mentioned 2 days ago ;)

So we now have it confirmed… women are computers… they work on a serial basis don’t they……

Clearly you just work at a higher frequency…. Several gig. Hz faster. Perhaps 512 bit rate….

Or maybe super computer rate……..

Now that would make sense…. Their super cooled with liquid nitrogen minus 273 degrees Celsius… just like most females

Good morning everyone.

Like you Ginny - all behind like a ducks whatsit this morning. I did wake at 4.15 - had an early breakfast and then decided nah it was too early. Went back to bed - and then slept late. Think dogs must have had their leads in their mouths waiting for their early??? morning walk. Thanks for your PMs - particularly the last one. Did wonder if all that was the reason that particular thread was deleted - obviously wrong assumption as GR has reinstated it.

Hope you had a really good time at the celebration, Sylvia. Outfit sounds real classy. Sorry to hear knee etc still causing you problems so you couldn't wear your pretty shoes. Sure you passed muster.

Good to pop in now and then to see how you all co-operate to come up with the answers that members request.

Must away and do some mundane things - like washing up.

Wow Ginny - that's the first time you have ever called me that - It is usually reserved for Cyn or FBG - I am honoured.

Had a little shock today - got on the scales - 6 st 3 3/4 !!!! - then realised that little grand-daughter had been playing with them to weigh her dollies and they needed re-callibrating - swiftly back to 7 stone on the dot !!!#
