Yes. According to this record, Francis's parents were george francis usher and mary ann - surname unknown as yet.
The baptisms above are for the children with Francis on the 1851 census.

Raymond

Raymond Report 28 Aug 2010 22:11

I think she was aware there could have been another sister but was unsure. Until about a month ago my mum didnt know anything about her mums family, then we discovered francis and a little has taken off from there, and daily we have a got a bit more, it was only one of your colleague directed me to look throught the cencus's for Kate instead of catherine. I had there marriage cert only but now I have her birth cert as well. Then I found she had been shipped out to live with her brother, but now I think it was because her father died. But I have been trying to find his birth cert.
not as interesting as cosby-rouse saga is it?

Janice

Janice Report 28 Aug 2010 22:02

Janice

Janice Report 28 Aug 2010 22:01

Janice

Janice Report 28 Aug 2010 21:53

Looks like Dorothy died soon after birth as the death is registered in the same quarter. That's why you thought there were only 3 girls.
