Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me please. I am trying to find out about Walter Woodage,he was born in August 1894 died 23rd January 1968.He married Ellen Louisa Jeffery on 21 August 1915 at the Parish of Langley Marrish. The wittness were Ernest Woodage( maybe sibling )and Percy Wotten.They lived in Sutton Lane Langley and had 8 daughters one of whitch is my mum.If anyone could help me get some info that would be great.He could be related to Dora Woodage who married Fred Shaw she was born in 1910.they also lived in sutton lane

I cannot see Dora Woodage's birth in free bmd. Where does the information about her come from?

Ellen D was registered in Staines and Walter was registered in Easthampstead . not too far away.

1911 shows Ellen Dora as the daughter of Ernest Woodage born about 1886 in Stanwell Middlesex.

I lived near those Barracks until last year. Have been in them on a couple of Remembrance Days.

She was known as Dora to my mums family

Try these free sites for searching. You can get the 1881 census from the first link but the others are not available for free, we can help you with those

The second link Ive posted gives you births marriages and deaths (all free) from 1837 up about 1940

If this is the right one looks like Walter was named after his grandfather Walter and they lived in a cottage with no name !!
