Actually, on freebmd there are 3 possible children born post 1920

Go to freebmd.org.uk (You don't have to register and it's FREE!!)

Select Births
Surname mccarthy
mother's surname lovell
date Mar 1920 - Dec 1930
District Cardiff

Then search (bottom left button)

You could alter the years and search as you wish

She married Joseph in 1912, on his death she remarried using the name Nation Lovell to Thomas Jones. She was born in 1886.
We also believe there was a son from the marriage to Joseph.
On her death we were told Joseph's parents took him away.

I am trying to find the family of my late grandmother, her name was Carnation Jones nee Lovell.
On her death certificate is her sister's name Mrs S McCarthy. Carnation died in 1919, she had son's Thomas, John and my dad Arthur, Arthur was fostered out I believe due to his mother's bad health. I think his foster mother was a Mrs Taylor, who when widowed remarried and become Mrs Lowe.
I wish to find if there is any family from my nan's sister's side of the family.
