Has she got a tree?

Sarah Report 22 Oct 2010 20:28

no she hasn't i tried to add people we had found ,but it kept saying there any way of finding members on here.

jax Report 22 Oct 2010 21:03

You have been trying to send messages to people to view thier tree? or to speak to them? I'm not sure what you mean by located her on this site unless she is in someone elses tree, which I have just had a look and no one has her

The birth records you see in the 'search' records are the gro indicies - to enable you to purchase a copy of the event certificate.

Not sure if this will work, but....

If you can find the same records on freebmd (they only go up to about 1945ish) you could try adding a 'post 'em'. Get a throwaway email account like hotmail or google only to be used for this, and leave a message asking to be contacted. Don't say its about an adopted out daughter as that could be quite a shock if a close birth relative didn't know about it. Perhaps the wording could be something like
'Trying to contact descendents/relatives of XXXX, please email XXXX@XXXXXX'
