Hello I am trying to find my ANY information on my grandfather Thomas Blackburn born in 1888 in Lancaster Lancashire, UK we think in July or August. He was in the army and eventually moved to Saskatoon, Canada. We do not know if he was in the British Army and/or Canadian Army. He died in Vancouver, BC, Canada 1945. He may have a brother. We know nothing of that family line and would love to know more, if anyone may think there is a connection. |

Hey, this looks like it could be him! I think his middle name was John. Yorkshire sound like it could be a possibility. I am going to send this to the only relative that knows a bit more than I. |

Well, my father told me he was 19 when he had to go identify his dad’s body. He went missing, and then was found washed up on English Bay. Is there anything a year before or afterwards? |

I talked to me older cousin and this seems like it is him. And looking at other census, he was actually born John Thomas Blackburn, but later changed it and used Thomas. |
