hi keith -I am decended from these steeles and have had good success with Teresa walkden's side and live very close to the east harlsey memorials (from which I have found out loads --)would be happy to share info afraid no closer to birthplace of rev, j. steele but not given up yet !!! Johnathan Steele, Vicar, East Harlsey, Yorks. DoB about 1750.
Any idea where he came from please? Married Teresa Walkden, Smeaton, 1783. Has anyone a link before that period? Thanks
