I Have been told by a friend who sent for the marriage cert that our Eliza
was the one who married Henry but as I said we believe thay were shipped off to Canada . Ive tried to find them on the peerage sites . Dont worry too much as Like I said ive researhed the Fairchilds.I Just wondered if anyone could tell me how to find out about their children

Have looked at children's births who were born before the marriage and they all have Henry and Eliza Sheffield as parents.
Thought maybe they were stepchildren to one of them but NO.

Thanks for your information I will add these to my tree. But like I said to Mike Im interested in finding out what family Eliza and Henry Had. I kindly had a book sent to me about the fairchilds and have most of the family and my gran always told me we had a peerage in the family !!

Thanks for replying Ive researched all the Fairchilds family and have found out that Eliza Fairchild married Henry Digby son of Sir Robert Sheffield . Ive been into loads of web sites about this family but I cannot find anything about Eliza Dinah T Fairchild other than her name could have been changed to Evelyn Diana Turner Fairchild. Im Trying to find out if they had any children,

Im Trying to find any children of Henry Digby Sheffield 1833 and Eliza Dinah Fairchild. They where married in 1877 St Marylebone London. Eliza was the daughter of George Frampton Fairchild 1822. George was the Brother of my gr x 4 grandfather John Roger Fairchild 1822 . Henry Digby was the son of Sir Robert Sheffield and I believe that Henry married beneath himself and was sent with Eliza to Canada,and I trying to find any family they had .
