You need to get the birth certificate for confirmation of his Mother. Have you got his marriage certificate, as this would confirm his Father's name?

As you have said they married 1926? I take it you do not have the cert?

How do you know his fathers name was Samuel?

Family trees - Sarginson question how do I contact someone who have the same grandparents that are on a different one

Not quite sure what you mean, but if you search the trees on here and find someone who possibly has your ancestor in thier tree click on [ find out more ] purple box at side of the name of the tree owner and send a message.

There is a chance you will not get a reply mainly because they have changed thier email address but you will no if the message has been read because the envelope in your sent messages beside the name will go white.

Violet May Jackson born 26.1.1910 Sheffield - married 1939 a Geoffrey Palmer b????

Violet May died in January 1987 age 77 Bakewell Derbyshire - when did her husband die.

Well, there is no death in Bakewell, or in the whole of Derbyshire for a Geoffrey Palmer (no middle initial), with an obvious realistic age.
You need the marriage cert really.
