Trouble is, if it's not tomorrow and they have to re-send it, it's only got till Friday to arrive because I'm off on my hols for a WEEK !!!!!!!

Oh, i feel for you, know where your coming from - my hubby is 6"4, his daughter from a previous relationship is nearly 6" at 13 and my son who's just 3 is the height of a 4.5 year old already so I know where he's headed too - I'm 5 foot nothing !!!!

Silly me - I meant feet ' not inches " :o)

I was 5'4" but have shrunk with age . The only thing that is large about me is years and that will be 70 next week

You have reminded me of my own, and my husband's family - The wedding show the difference very well.

My husband is 6' 4" and all his family, including the females are well over 6' tall.

I am the tallest in my family by far and I am only 5' 1" if I really stretch myself !

You can imagine the photo's with 'his lot' at the back and 'my lot ' at the front !!

I made my wedding cake with 2 layers and the photo's turned out just the same (tee hee).

I live next door to my son daughter in law and grandson and one day when I went round my grandson shout "Look out here come the midget"
Everyone was laughing so much we forgot to tell him off.
Now he refers to me has mini Nan.

My gran was about 4' 8" and wore size 13 childs size shoe, sometimes a size 1 because of her bunions :o)

There is a great photo of her with all her grandsons - all nearly 6' and above :o)

My reply to someone calling me titch, squirt, midget, shortie is always - small is beautiful, just look at a diamond !!

It's always worked great with men too - you can easily look all defenceless and vulnerable - ensuring you get your way :o)

Going to ring them now and get them to re-send it :o(

I would't care Arstee but I just have the feeling we are all building our hopes up on this cert and I don't think it will bring us anything new !!!

Some-one up there is just trying to 'wind us up', I think !!!

We will not be beaten though - once it has arrived, if it does bring no new info, we will just start again from the beginning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, where are you going for your holidays - somewhere nice, I hope ???

Oh what a nightmare !!

It's not as easy as just re-sending it according to the woman I've just spoken too............

She couldn't tell me if it had been dealt with yet, or sent, or if there was a problem - agh !!!

All she can do is put in a complaint form in for me and someone will contact me ....... she couldn't even tell me when !!!

Nightmare !!!

Ring back and ask to speak to her 'supervisor' Arstee !!!

You have paid your money and you should expect to receive 'good service' !!!

Don't give up until you have your questions answered - Has it been dealt with ? - Has it been sent out? WHEN was it sent out? When will a replacement be sent?

Tell them that you want it to be sent out - 'Next day delivery' , TODAY !!

ASSERT yourself here !!

Yes Dea, I too think all these dentons are winding us up a treat - it'll probably say when it arrives - father un-known or John Smith or something stupid !!!

I'm only off to Cornwall. I vowed when we took the little man to Tenerife on his 1st proper holiday that I would not fly again with him until he'd learned some manners, could sit still and watch a film or read books and just generally be quiet !! He drove the whole plane crazy and I didn't think it was fair on everyone...........

We like Cornwall though and it's not too far to drive but I'm just praying that the rain stops and we get some sun...
