Patrick CRYAN born 1864 Leitrim Ireland.

Parents: John CRYAN & Mary MURRAY married Leitrim Ireland.

1901 Irish Census shows Patrick (37) & Mary (35) CRYAN
living at Tanlaghtavally, Mohill, Leitrim, with their children:
Bridget aged 12
Margaret aged 10
John aged 7
Peter aged 5
Patrick aged 3.

1911 Census shows no record of any of them.

I checked shipping Records & cannot find any record.

I think that Patrick & Mary may have married either in 1885 or 1888 but I have no proof.

I would appreciate any help.

I know that Patrick CRYAN'S siblings:
Maria 1858,
Bridget 1860
James 1866
John 1870
Margaret 1872
Michael 1874
All migrated to Qld Australia.

I am stuck on just who John Cryan & Mary Murray (my g. Grandparents were)

I can't find out who their parents were as I also cannot find their own birth dates, I am sure they were born in the Carrick-on-Shannon area of Leitrim & not Sligo as that was another John Cryan.

There was no info on their marriage certificate of the 4/7/1857 in Kiltogerth Parish Leitrim Ireland,(the spelling may be incorrect.

I have found a John & Mary Cryan on the 1901 census still living in Leitrim with their grandson John Cryan aged 2 years, I have a feeling if these are the correct one's this boy could be the son of one of their son's James Cryan who migrated alone to Qld Australia.
Their ages fit to what I would think would be them,. from there I have no idea.
I am 90% sure now that Patrick Cryan migrated to America

Hi Everyone who have tried to help me in the past with "My Cryan's"
Since the death of my husband 2 1/2 half year ago I lost the plot to go on with my research.
Now feeling better & would like to continue down the road into the past.
I have found that Patrick Cryan (1864 Leitrim) his wife & family moved to Scotland..
Thus the disappearance from the 1911 Irish Census.
I still cannot find any further information on John Cryan (?1830's) & his wife Mary Murray (?1830's) I am sure they were on the Irish Census of 1911 in Leitrim with their grandson but from there I cannot find any trace of what happened to them.
If anyone has anymore clues I would be very grateful for the help.
