Can anyone find him after 1901, please?

He was born in Hughenden, Buckinghamshire in 1882.; birth registration during September qr, in the district of Wycombe.

1891 census he was Edward J, age 8, with his parents, John, Agricultural labourer, age 61, Mary, age 51, brothers William J, age 26, Chair turner, Isaac, age 12, Benjamin, age 10, living in Widmer End, Hughenden, Buckingham,

1901 census he was John, occupation Farm, boarder, age 19, living with his brother Will, in Widmer End, Hughenden. His brother was a Turner of wood working at home, age 36, with his wife Ellen, age 30, and daughters Gunda, age 6, Rose, age 3, Dora, age 1.

I cannot find Edward John Newton anywhere after 1901.

Found the migration entry on Find My Past

Last address in UK was Dunlived ,Hartley Down ,Purley Surrey

However UAC employees would go to the Coast ,as it was known, for 3 plus years secondment.

I have had a look in find my past and it certainly could be him; how frustrating not to have the place of birth! :-)

There are quite a few marriages that could be his.

Wish I could find him on a ship returning to England - with place of birth :-)
And wish I could find him in 1911 or in army records.

May I ask, please, for one last look at him, if anyone can see him in 1911, or anywhere else as well as the kind help given by Shirley?
