I am looking for descendants of Frederick Joseph Bown, married to Catherine Lilian Bown nee Phillips,
Their address in 1905 was 48 Westcourt Street, Old Brompton Chatham.

Have you found them on 1911 census?

Have you used the Search Trees facility to see if anyone else has them? (There is someone has a person of that name, born 1848 in Derbyshire).

I have a birth certificate for George Thomas Bown 9/10/1905 showing father Frederick and Catherine at the Brompton address:
I have also seen the Derbyshire entry 1901 census showing 2 children but I can't tie them up with George as wasn't born until 1905.
Cannot find any of them on the 1911 census.
I have sent a message to the Derbyshire person, no response as yet
I have not tried your first suggestion, will give it a go

What was Frederick's occupation on the BC? Was it a job which would make it likely for them/him to move around the country?

We are trying to tie him in to a geographical area, as well as the marriage. Then we can start looking in the right areas for relatives.

Not at 48 Westcott ST in 1911 - McBride family living there

I think I am waiting for Frederick's occupation from son's birth certificate.

I typed the address wrong - used to live near Westcott - but I did check Westcourt St

Still waiting a response to the question about the occupation of Frederick on the birth cert

Frederick Joseph Bown born 1858 Derby, married Catherine born apx 1877, Wallsend. Living Greenwich 1901, 13 Selcroft Road, two children Frederick born 1898 and Lily Gertrude1900. Went on to have further children, Geroge Thomas 1905-1971, Arthur, Constance (Connie) and lastly Joseph Humphrey born 1912 died 1995, born in Salford on 18th Feb 1912, living 21 Park Place. believe Frederick Joseph died from industrial injury around 1912. Catherine then moved to Newscastle South Shields area before moving to Surrey in 1930's following her elder son Frederick. She died mid 50's. Her son Frederick died in 1980, marrying late and having one daughter in 1950... who is me! Would love to know more detail of Frederick Joseph's parents and further back.. Lily Gertrude moved to southern Ireland and had two daughters I believe, Connie had two sons and a daughter and lived by coast in Essex towards the end of her life. Joseph had 4 or 5 children I believe and lived in Dorking in Surrey during 50's. I know nothing of either George or Arthur's families. :-)
