Hi Russell. Welcome to the boards.
You have resurrected a thread which is from 1911. Nothing wrong with that, but if Sally doesn't come back and reply, you might want to send her a message by clicking on her name.
You can also look for other matches by entering names into 'search all trees', found in search box above.
If you need advice you can start a thread of your own.

No marriage and can't find on 1881/91 census. Possible Daisy Clinch as a servant in 1901.

Sadly the family are not at the address on the birth record in 1881 (4 Priory Street, Kentish Town)

brummiejan Report 9 Nov 2011 10:18

Well found Janet & Andrew.
Still not seeing a marriage though, how about you?

Sally Report 8 Nov 2011 22:16

i have 5 of their childrens birth certificates and the mothers name says DAISY NEWELL formally CLINCH and i don't think it would be something else, unless the spelling could be different ?

Looking at the writing - assuming this is from a birth cert of one of their children - ae you 100% sure about the surname - could it be something else?

Sally Report 8 Nov 2011 21:46

THE name james percy newell was my Great Grandfather and he married a lady called daisy eliza or daisy elizabeth clinch who was born abt 1881 and died 1931. they had 8 children together and that's all i know relating to the 2 names i have given, so anything about them would help

Where have you got the names from? I assume it is from a child's birth.
If you tell us about that person we might be able to help perhaps?
