However, following on from the baptism record that Joan posted the initial transcript of, the father William Henry on that record was a Gunner RA, they lived at 3 Hobson's Buildings, Artillery Place. William Alfred Stanley's actual date of birth was Aug 11 1894.

He married Hilda Bonner in Farnham Surrey in 1916

William Henry Brooks first enlisted 15/07/1891 and he was a barman then.

He married Mary Donovan 14/04/1894 at Woolwich Register Office.

They also had children Ivy Mabel born 24/10/1901 & baptised 14/11/1901 and Reginald John, born 10/08/1904 & baptised 25/09/1904 (both Aldershot)

On William Alfred S bap record it states his father was a gunner RK they were living 3, Holborns buildings Artillery Place he was born August 11 1894

Hope Adam comes back here when he get's marriage certificate.
