Find Ancestors

Hi everyone; sent for certificates; both wrong !! serves me right for assuming I suppose. Have now asked relative to rack their brains again for any clues, while I trawl through some more ideas on finding clues.Any help will be appreciated, but not much to go by till I can find a surname I suppose.

Hi,thanks for reply. Plan to send for certificates soon,so will hopefully confirm things.In the meantime my sister will look in local library in Nazeing for other proof. Will post anything when I have any further info.

Hi everyone,
I may have found Rose and Bill; Rose Wheeler [ may have reverted to single surname], married a William Mccarthy in 1934, in Pancras, London.Have also found a death for Rose Mccarthy in 1965 [ Sept ]in Waltham Forest; this seems likely as thats near Nazeing in Essex,where our family used to visit them,and she came to my fathers funeral in March 1965 and from there we had no further contact.Am now going to try to prove these finds by getting info re the market garden they ran in Pecks Hill,Nazeing.All help welcomed.

Hi, most answers seem to be on the other thread;so to clarify; Have found the correct family for Rose;Henry and Mary Wheeler were parents.Several children,all born in Kensington; Rose born 1882, Maud [ my grandmother ] born 1887.Rose married Sidney Burgess in 1898; had Alice in 1903, who then died in 1905.Sidney then ? married Elizabeth Browning in 1907 and had Ruth in 1908.Cant find Rose in 1911,and only knew her in 50s and 60s when she was with Bill in Nazeing[ owned plant nurseries] and lived in 49/51 Pecks Hill, Nazeing, Essex. Dont know a surname so cant look for them. Sister going to research the houses and possibly ER when she visits Chingfoed in the next few weeks.
Hope this clears up all the queries.Any furthe info gratefully received.

Frankly I am giving up on this one.

What proof have we actually got that this is the right Rose that married Burgess.

Alice Louisa is not her child ?? But Rose is supposed to be with "Bill" in 1903 but no proof of that or when the son "Bill" was born.

Perhaps Rose is with her married sister - who ever that might be ?

Hi, yes we have found the correct Rose; born to Henry and Mary Wheeler in 1882; married to Sidney Burgess etc; see previous notes from Glitter...... and my latest replies.Am hoping to get my sister to check electoral role when she visits family in Chingford soon.

Hi, Parents of Rose were Henry and Mary Wheeler, living in Kensington, London. Rose born in 1882. I thought one of you had found the family earlier in the messages.There were several children in the family, one of which was Maude, who was my paternal grandmother.

Perhaps if you could say who the parents of Rose Wheeler are and when she was born would help because at the moment this thread is not making much sense.
